Good Trouble episode 6 preview: Conflicts of interest
Below, CarterMatt does have the official Good Trouble episode 6 synopsis with some other news as to what’s coming up next:
Callie plans to disclose her connection to Malika to Judge Wilson before Ben has the opportunity to undermine her and, in the process, learns she might not be the only one with a conflict of interest on her team. Meanwhile, Gael consults Callie for legal help for his sister Jazmin.
We know that Callie has a friendship with Malika, but at the same time, there’s clearly so much more to think about here. She’s been working for years at this point in order to have a great career in law and she recognizes that one wrong move can send things careening in the wrong direction. This is not the most forgiving profession in the world, and she needs to have an awareness that one wrong move can tilt the world off its axis and cause things to crumble for her. She has to be prepared for this given that if she’s not, she could be surprised at any time.
Of course, if it turns out that someone else has a conflict in the case, it could mean strength in numbers … potentially. It at least makes the case a little bit more complicated than it previously seemed, and there’s so much more to watch out for as we witness the progression of this case the rest of the way.
So what’s coming for Mariana in this episode? Clearly, the network wants that to be a surprise given that they’re hardly giving us that much more in the way of information to go on right now.
