Manifest episode 15 preview: The last before finale

Manifest season 1

Manifest episode 15 is coming to NBC on Monday, February 11, and there’s quite a bit to look forward to in advance. After all, this is the final installment before the epic season finale and one that of course has a challenge of both tying some stories up while also building others towards some sort of epic conclusion. There are many big events coming when it comes to Michaela and Zeke, and also a better understanding of how some of the abilities of the passengers can be used for great evil. It was only inevitable that we would arrive at this point since we’re talking about a new paradigm. At a certain point, we were going to see that shift as more and more characters start to understand their capabilities. Some of that uncertainty surrounding the callings will fade, both for better and for worse.

Below, CarterMatt does offer the official Manifest episode 15 synopsis with some additional information as to what’s coming next:

02/11/2019 (10:00 PM – 11:00 PM) (Monday): When Michaela (Melissa Roxburgh) meets the mysterious James Griffin (guest star Marc Menchaca) during a police investigation, the passengers learn what happens when the callings fall in the wrong hands. Meanwhile, Jared (J.R. Ramirez) finds out about Zeke (guest star Matt Long), setting him at odds with Michaela and her trust in the callings. Also starring Josh Dallas, Athena Karkanis, Luna Blaise, Jack Messina, and Parveen Kaur. TV-14 S, V

If there is one thing worth hoping for within the final two episodes more so than just about anything else, it is that Manifest does find a way to clean up what has become a rather messy universe as of late. There’s just a lot going on, and because of all of the different story directions and various new characters like Zeke and now James Griffin, it’s a little bit harder to follow. A show like this does have such an enormous challenge keeping things consistent, mostly due to the fact that it’s taking on such an ambitious concept. It’s a high-risk, high-reward sort of situation. You can reach higher highs with a show like this than your standard procedural, but it’s harder to get many viewers back in the event you lose them. That’s something that Manifest and its writers hopefully remembered while preparing its home stretch of the season.

Where’s the season 2 renewal?

It’s certainly a question worth wondering at the moment (especially since New Amsterdam just got one), but we definitely still think it’s coming.
