The Masked Singer: Terry Bradshaw revealed as The Deer (officially)

Tonight, The Masked Singer had another big reveal at the end of the episode, and we debated for a good while who it could be. The Unicorn and the Deer were the two easy candidates for the bottom two, just because they are the two people who sound the least like a professional singer.

With one of these two, it felt fairly obvious — the Deer is probably Terry Bradshaw. We thought Peyton Manning briefly, but Terry was a huge star in track and field. He also does have a lot of experience raising horses and when he was throwing stuff, one of the things that he threw felt suspiciously like a terrible towel. That was a pretty dead giveaway.

As it turned out, there was a really small percentage between the two singers at the very bottom … but it was, in the end, the Deer who was forced to unmask himself. The Unicorn gets to stick around for a little while longer! Was it actually Terry like so many people thought? Well, the deer’s big tell was that he laughs in the same exact way that Terry laughs. It’s hard to really change this habit, and it doesn’t really matter if you’re wearing a mask or not.

In one way, it’s good that the Deer happened to be Terry, mostly because of the fact that this is one every viewer under the sun seemed to figure out. The funny thing is that Terry has actually recorded albums in the past — he also joked that this was so much more difficult than playing football. We really hope that there’s a chance for Terry to have a little bit of fun with this on Fox NFL broadcasts in the future. We will be honest here in saying that we had no clue that Terry could actually sing — that’s at least one part of the show that was a little bit of a surprise for us.

Of the group tonight, we do think that we’re going to see the Unicorn unmasked at some point in the near future.
