Blindspot season 4 episode 9 return date hopes for Jaimie Alexander, cast

Blindspot season 4

Following tonight’s fall finale, do you want to know the Blindspot season 4 episode 9 return date? Within this piece, we’ve got some of our first speculation on this very subject!

With tonight being the fall finale, it should prove fairly obvious to most that there is not going to be a new episode coming again during the calendar year. The Jaimie Alexander series is going to be pumping the brakes and allowing itself to refresh before picking things up again in the new year.

Yet, how long are you going to be forced to wait? While NBC has not publicly confirmed it as of yet, all signs currently point towards a return date of Friday, January 11. That’s still fairly early on in the year, but there is a tangible reason as to why the show is not starting earlier than that on January 4: The return of The Blacklist. While NBC has shifted the show’s two-part premiere so that it is not premiering on a Friday, NBC is still opting to repeat the premiere episode on January 4 and Blindspot will not have an open timeslot for itself on that night before of that. They don’t really need to have one just because they’ll have already aired the first eight episodes of the season and there is plenty of time left in order to air the rest. The Blacklist does not have the same luxury, largely due to the fact that it is premiering so late in the season but still has a full 22 episodes to air.

When Blindspot does return, we do anticipate that there is going to be a lengthy run of episodes that hopefully continues to provide us with some of what makes this show what it is: Smart, intriguing storytelling featuring a wide array of different characters and high stakes. This is a show that so far this season has dealt with a lot of betrayal, heartbreak, and pain. The Remi character is simply centered on a number of difficult emotions and trying to grapple with a good deal of that. Let’s hope by the end of the season things do start to change, mostly because we’ve come to know this series so much through Jane Doe and we still want to remember her as a big part of the story and one of the primary reasons why it works. Fingers crossed that she makes her own presence felt in a big way in the second half of the season and the bond between Jane and Weller intensifies on some level.

Of course, once there is more news to discuss on this subject, we will have it for you here.
