NCIS: New Orleans season 5 spotlight: What’s next for Tammy Gregorio?
First and foremost, what we’re hoping to see from her in season 5 is a little less of “New York” — at least in the sense that she has been in New Orleans for a while and shouldn’t be as much of a fish out of water anymore. We know that there is a new female character coming into New Orleans this season with experience overseas, and we’d love to see Tammy take her under her wing and show her how a newcomer can be used to life in the city. Also, this could help to give us another fun friendship since we feel like we’re going to miss the one between Percy and Gregorio that we had ever since Tammy first arrived.
When it comes to the job itself, how much are the events of season 4 going to weigh on Tammy? One of the things that we would like to see a little bit more of the aftereffects that some of these cases have on these characters. We know that the style of this sort of show doesn’t really lead to us getting a lot of this, but it could still be something really interesting to explore from a character point of view.
Of course, we also know that there are going to be questions regarding love interests for Tammy and if the right person comes along, we welcome it. With characters like her and also Dylan over on Instinct, CBS can use more in terms of LGBTQ representation. It would nice for Gregorio to have a permanent love interest, someone who can better show that it is possible for some of these agents to have lives away from the job. We don’t really have too much of that in general across the NCIS franchise, but characters like McGee and Jimmy Palmer over on the flagship show has shown that it is possible.
NCIS: New Orleans season 5 is slated to premiere on CBS come this fall. Once there is some more news on this subject, we’ll be sure to have it for you here.
