MacGyver season 2 finale video: Riley’s dad meets Billy Colton
In this preview, you can see the return of both Lance Gross (Billy Colton) alongside Billy Baldwin (Elwood) as the characters meet in one of the most awkward ways imaginable. For starters, Billy isn’t exactly wearing much in the way of clothing! Beyond just that, Riley and Billy end up having a conversation about the status of their relationship — whether or not they are boyfriend and girlfriend — right in front of him. The fact that Elwood hasn’t been all that involved in her life until recently probably is going to make things all the more awkward.
Is the relationship between Billy and Riley still new? Absolutely, and that’s what makes us so curious on the subject of whether or not it will continue. Story-wise, there are a number of interesting reasons in which to keep the two together, mostly in that it establishes a close link between the Phoenix Foundation and the Colton Family. That could be useful if there are opportunities to bring everyone back again moving into the future. Beyond just that, it does just add another interesting character to the mix.
We’ll be the first here to admit that we’re a rather big ‘shipper of the Bozer – Riley relationship. Yet, Bozer is with Leanna at the moment so it’s not like there is a whole lot of hope for something there at the moment anyway.
