Why Bull season 2 episode 20 could be season’s most powerful episode

Bull season 2 episode 7

Unfortunately, Bull season 2 episode 20 is going to be on hold this week — CBS is not airing new episodes of the Michael Weatherly show or any other as a part of its lineup tonight.

Yet, when we do see the series return with new installments on April 17, it is going to be with an episode that is one of the most delicate (and emotional) of the entire season. The title here is “Justified” and at the forefront of it is going to be one of the most challenging situations that we’ve seen the TAC take on. The episode begins with an abused woman making what she feels is an impossible decision: Having to kill her abuser in the middle of the night. She did it at a time when she felt she had no other choice and that if she hadn’t done it, she and those she loved would never be safe.

Yet, killing someone is still killing someone, and it’s pretty fair to say that the woman is going to find herself at the center of an intense case as a result of this. Can Bull and the team prove that the death was, in fact, justified? That’s going to be at the center of everything. Bull is clearly on her side (you get to see that in the preview that CarterMatt has for you below), but trying to get a jury to do the same thing in a judgmental courtroom setting is not going to be the easiest thing in the world to do — especially when you have a prosecutor who is desperate to pin you down for however many crimes that they possibly can. These people can be quite ruthless and it is fair to say that this one will be too. Maybe they legitimately believe some of what they are arguing; or, maybe they see this as a genuine opportunity to get ahead and try to advance their own career. It doesn’t matter really, given that either way this is going to be an immense challenge for Bull to try and take on.
