If you are interested in securing the Bull season 2 episode 20 return date, rest assured — that information lies within! To go along with that is some more scoop surrounding what should be an interesting episode.
Bull season 2 episode 20 carries with it the title of “Justified,” which of course makes us think immediately of the FX series featuring Timothy Olyphant and Walton Goggins. Unfortunately, don’t count on seeing either Raylan or Boyd in this episode — though it would have plenty of appeal in its own right (have we mentioned lately how much we miss that show?). This is an emotional story that should touch back on Bull’s own history, while also focus on a heart-wrenching case. The defendant here appears to be a woman who was forced into making an impossible decision — having to shoot her husband, thinking that it was the only option in way to secure her own safety.
The Bull season 2 episode 20 synopsis that CarterMatt has for you below gives you an additional sense as to what’s coming:
“Justified” – A friend from Bull’s past enlists his services to help convince a jury that a domestic abuse survivor who shot her husband in his sleep is not guilty of murder because she feared for her life and the life of her unborn child, on BULL, Tuesday, April 17 (9:00-10:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.
Originally, we wondered if this was an episode featuring Cote de Pablo as a guest star (after all, it is a meaty story, they were being secretive about the guest cast and Dennis Smith, who helped make many great installments of NCIS over the years, is in the director’s chair). Yet, that doesn’t appear to be the case as she’s not among the guest stars now listed. Hopefully, that’s an appearance that could still come down the road. This episode should be compelling no matter who appears in it, especially since it is a narrative that does touch on issues that are extremely topical in the news today.
Beyond just Bull season 2 episode 20…
One of the simplest things that we are hoping for is that there is going to be a season 3 renewal announcement by the time the show is back! Typically CBS has a tendency to renew most of their series at one time and Bull should be a lock to come back for more. Season 2 has been a vast improvement over season 1 in many ways, whether it be by focusing on some more timely cases (like “Justified”) or also giving us more opportunities as a viewer to understand who the supporting characters are. Whether it be Chunk, Cable, or Marissa, we feel like all of these characters have had some arcs that lasted longer than a single episode. Isn’t that a trend worth continuing.
