Chicago PD 100th episode, Chicago Fire crossover details revealed

Chicago Pd season 5 teaser

Want to get some more details both on the Chicago PD 100th episode and also the Chicago Fire episode that follows? On March 7 and 8, NBC is going to be bringing you the first major One Chicago crossover of the season and it’s one that will offer up some unique opportunities for Intelligence and Firehouse 51 to work together. It’s also one that plays out structurally than any other major crossover in the past. Typically, we see Fire work as the lead-in before going over to PD. However, in this case what we’re going to see here is PD leading into Fire.

Below, we’ve got the two official loglines now courtesy of the network.

Chicago PD season 5, episode 16, “Profiles” – 03/07/2018 (10:00PM – 11:00PM) (Wednesday) : Intelligence investigates a string of bombings targeting members of the media. Racing against a ticking clock, the team enlists Firehouse 51 to help examine the devices and prevent the next attack.

Chicago Fire season 6, episode 13, “Hiding Not Seeking” – 03/08/2018 (10:00PM – 11:00PM) (Thursday) : CPD ENLISTS THE HELP OF FIREHOUSE 51 FOR A DANGEROUS UNDERCOVER MISSION – CROSSOVER CONTINUES FROM THE PREVIOUS NIGHT’S “CHICAGO P.D.” – While working to track down a bombing suspect, Voight (guest star Jason Beghe) and Antonio (guest star Jon Seda) meet with Chief Boden (Eamonn Walker), who unwillingly agrees to let Dawson (Monica Raymund) and Brett (Kara Killmer) go undercover. As the investigation continues, Boden, Casey (Jesse Spencer) and Severide (Taylor Kinney) lend their skilled expertise in the investigation. Elsewhere, Kidd (Miranda Rae Mayo) and Zach’s (guest star Daniel Di Tomasso) relationship hits a bump and Cruz (Joe Minoso) has a hard time expressing his true feelings for Brett. Meanwhile, Herrmann (David Eigenberg) and Connie (guest star DuShon Monique Brown) are forced to come up with an alternative solution when two birthday parties are booked on the same day at the firehouse. Yuri Sardarov and Christian Stolte also star. Amy Morton, Patrick John Flueger, Jesse Lee Soffer, Traci Spiridakos, Marina Squerciati and LaRoyce Hawkins also guest star.

Sound exciting? While details on Chicago PD are clearly a little bit more sparse, we do get a good sense that almost the entire Chicago PD crew is going to be appearing in the Fire episode, which may make this crossover be a little more comprehensive than some of the past ones that have spanned three different shows. That required a little more scheduling trickery.
