Timeless season 2 trailer teases Wyatt, Lucy romance and more

NBC has released a new trailer for Season 2 of the time-traveling series, Timeless. The new series gives some hints at what fans can expect during the new season, including some of the eras they will be traveling to. Fans also get a look at Wyatt and Lucy’s potential relationship change.

The trailer starts out with Lucy stating that her life has forever changed since entering the time traveling business by going back in time to save history. Of course, this is to be expected! If we time traveled basically for a living to save the world, our lives would change, too. However, for Lucy her world has just exploded from this. From her sister being wiped from the face of the Earth to finding out her once-ill mother is part of Rittenhouse, it’s all been a shocker. Now, after thinking she had saved the world, she learns her team’s job is far from over.

The scene changes to a World War II time era where the team will likely be during the beginning of the new season. We also learn that Rittenhouse may have planted agents in time already. This suggest what the team’s overall mission will be during Season 2. During Season 1, the team’s job was to find Garcia Flynn and stop him before he could rewriter history, however, that mission brought many secrets to life bring the attention of Rittenhouse. With Flynn in prison now, the team will have to find these secret agents and stop them before the change the future “in ways they can’t predict.”

The trailer then shifts gears and turns our attention to the romance we suspected. Wyatt and Lucy had a few brief moments in Season 1 that made us leap in excitement because they were too cute. In addition, the writers did a nice job at showing us that we wanted to cheer for these two. So when we saw Rufus bluntly tell Wyatt he’s love in with Lucy, we yelled in happiness. Then the pair kissed and we can’t wait for Season 2 to see how this will all play out. In addition, we can’t wait to see whether or not the writers will use this relationship to gather attention on social media. By this we means, that many shows grab people’s attention because of fans on social media going crazy over their favorite ships, so it Timeless can do the same, it could pick up more people along the way.

Overall, this trailer makes us very excited about the new and we are counting down the days until March 11.
