Bull season 2 episode 15 promo opts to look forward
Now that we’ve said that, obviously it would be wonderful to have a few more details regarding what’s coming beyond what’s in the promo below. CBS often likes to create promos that appeal to all potential viewers rather than just those who watch every episode intently. This one makes no clear mention as to what’s going to happen with Cable, or if we’re going to see the character return or fight to get her job back. Ever since we first wrote about the subject on Tuesday, nobody has confirmed that the character is departing the show for good — contrast this with Law & Order: SVU on Wednesday night, who made it explicitly clear immediately after the episode that Raul Esparza was leaving as a series regular to pursue some other opportunities.
We definitely think that there will be some more opportunities address what happened / what could be happening with Cable — for now, let’s move forward and discuss what is in the promo below.
On “Witness for the Prosecution,” we’re going to see Bull take on a slightly-different role than what he has done lately. Rather than help to defend clients who need extra assistance, Dr. Bull is going to work in this episode alongside the District Attorney to try to convict Hazel Diaz, a drug dealer and murderer who really should be in prison seemingly. Why isn’t she? So far, she’s been able to avoid it by claiming that she suffers from schizophrenia. She’s been able to use an insanity defense and nobody’s been able to break that down. Here’s where Dr. Bull enters the fray. He may have the skill to see if her diagnosis is legitimate; we just have to see if the recent events at the TAC serve as any sort of distraction. Unless he re-hires Cable or finds someone else for the job, Bull may be short a member.
