How Timeless fans can help promote the show’s second season
Twitter is a fantastic way to get a fandom’s message across. For example, back when ABC’s Castle has announced that it was firing its lead actress, Stana Katic, diehard fans took to Twitter in order to let ABC know that they would not support a season without Katic. For 6 weeks fans tweeted special hastags and pictures to the network expressing their frustrations and it worked. The show was cancelled. Or take Starz’s Outlander. Twitter was the reason we started watching the show after diehard fans wouldn’t stop talking about it; now, it’s one of our favorites.
So for Timeless fans we suggest you take to social media and keep talking about the show. Use hashtags, pictures, and gifs to get other’s excited about the show. Make it so people get to tired of seeing a tweet about Timeless that they decided to check it out. In addition, tag NBC’s account and let them know how much you love the show. Tell them how much you identify with the characters, how much the episodes give you excitement, and how much you look forward to it every week. Networks may not respond to the tweets, but that doesn’t mean they don’t see them or read them. The more a network knows about what the fans like and what they want the better.
For those who doubt this, we understand. However, Timeless needs the promotion it deserves and if the network won’t give it that, then it’s up to the fans. We want to see this show on for a long time and the only way to do that is to spread the word about this amazing series.
