MacGyver season 2 episode 13: More on Ashley Tisdale appearance!
If you look below, CarterMatt has the MacGyver season 2 episode 13 synopsis chock full of scoop as to what’s coming for Mac and Tisdale’s character Allie — a former love interest turned competitor. As it turns out, though, Tisdale’s character is not the only rival who you are going to see in this episode:
“CO2 Sensor + Tree Branch” – While Mac participates in a challenge for government operatives to create robotic combat machines, Mac must help his biggest competitor, Allie (Ashley Tisdale), when her vehicle is hacked and heads to the Pentagon. Also, Jack attends his high school reunion, hoping for a showdown with his old rival who beat him out for homecoming king, on MACGYVER, Friday, Jan. 12 (8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network. Ashley Tisdale guest stars as Allie, a CIA operative, Mac’s former fling and his biggest competitor in the Challenge.
There are few things that sound as hilarious to us as the idea of Jack heading over to his high school reunion and doing battle with some stooge who won homecoming king instead of him. We figure that the biggest struggle for Jack here is going to be keeping it a secret as to what he actually does for a living — there’s nothing quite like being an international operative/hero to intimidate people you used to go to high school with. Doesn’t everyone want to go to their high school reunion with a super cool job everyone’s insanely jealous of?
Tisdale has a history of doing great TV in between Hellcats, High School Musical, and lending her voice to a wide array of different animated series. What’s exciting here is that we haven’t had too many opportunities to see her take on a role this action-focused. It’s a different flavor for her and one that we’re very much looking forward to seeing play out over the course of the hour — what’s also fun is that it seems like there’s a good chance she could return if Allie and Mac have great chemistry and play off each other really well. The more rotating guest stars we get for a show like this, the better.
