Bull season 2 episode 10 video: Bull, Santa, and a father figure
On “Home for the Holidays” one of the things that is going to make this story fun is seeing Bull be assigned a temporary guardian for a young girl in the midst of a case — one that this girl brings to Bull! Apparently, she wants to hire him so that he can help divorce her parents, which sounds almost like an alternate version of the movie The Parent Trap. This should be endlessly fun, mostly because it’s putting Bull far out of his comfort zone and into the orbit of someone he may not know how to relate with. While there is a sense of childlike wonder around Bull in some ways, we do think that kids are a blind spot for him and people he probably doesn’t spend a lot of time around. He has good intentions most of the time with his cases, but the vast majority of them involve adults.
Hopefully along the way Bull season 2 episode 10 teaches the title character a few different things, including some very-important information when it comes to himself. While he may think that he is the sort of character who is constantly all about work, there’s probably a deeper layer there. He probably does want to have kids at some point in the future on some level and he’s just been repressing it for a while. We did get a sense of this on some level last season with Isabella Colon and his struggle to reconcile precisely what happened to her.
“Home for the Holidays” is going to be the last episode of Bull season 2 for the year — here’s to hoping that it is a worthy send-off that helps to get us all the more exciting for stories down the road.
