‘Elementary’ season 5, episode 6 video: A chef with many enemies
On Sunday night’s new episode of “Elementary,” we’re going to see a perfect example of something that is the far opposite of fine dining: One that turns incredibly deadly.
In the sneak peek below, you’ll get a good sense as to precisely what we’re talking about. You’ve got in here a chance to see Jonny Lee Miller’s Sherlock Holmes investigating with Joan (Lucy Liu) a high-end restaurant that was the location of a deadly attack. Someone effectively came in and injected the food with a form of snake victim, effectively poisoning not only the chefs, but also some of the patrons.
As our two investigators almost immediately surmise, this could be a challenging case to figure out just because of the wide array of possibilities at the center of it. For example, was the target the chef, or someone in the dining room? Both are reasonable possibilities. The issue with this restaurant is that the chef doesn’t seem to have a real talent for making friends, and to make matters all the more complicated, there may be some other competitors out there looking to take him down a big.
No matter the reasoning, this sneak peek is fascinating mostly because it lays out the groundwork for what may be one of the more interesting cases of the season so far. We’ve seen countless murders on this show and others, so any idea that stands out to us is very much a great thing.
Bonus sneak peek – For everyone out there who loves the scenes between Holmes and Detective Bell, consider this one to be right up your alley and then some. As a fan and collector of many penguin-related things, it’s also nice to see we’re not alone.
