‘Teen Wolf’ season 6 trailer: An avalanche of Stiles / Lydia emotions

With the premiere of “Teen Wolf” coming to MTV on Tuesday, November 15, the network has now chosen to unleash upon us their latest promo of what to expect — and we gotta say that this one is especially emotional.

If you recall, we learned earlier on this year the Ghost Riders set up to be the Big Bads for this season. They’re a group with a very specific power but an unknown person: They can take people from this realm to another, and in the process cause everyone to completely forget about someone’s existence. It’s terrifying in so many ways. If you die, you have a legacy, and you know that you are leaving something behind. If you are taken by the Riders, what exactly do you have? You’re instead just a vacant spot in someone’s mind, and there is no way to tell whether or not you are ever going to be able to come back.

This is where things get tricky for Stiles, as he finds himself being taken away — but not before uttering the truth about some of his feelings to Lydia.

At present, one thing feels abundantly clear to us: If you are a major fan of all things Stydia, you are probably going to love this story. While we are unsure how much Dylan O’Brien will be available due to both his work on “The Maze Runner” and a subsequent injury he suffered on that set, we know that when he’s there, the show will explore a potential relationship that has long been at the center of many “Teen Wolf” fan’s wishlist.

This is by far the strongest trailer the series has released to date; hopefully, this is a strong indicator that we will be saying the same thing about the season as a whole.
