‘Major Crimes’ season 5, episode 4 preview: ‘Skin Deep’ promo reveals Andy’s real-estate surprise

There have been some teases here and there regarding an upcoming episode of “Major Crimes” that would bring some twists and turns to the world of Andy Flynn’s house-hunting, and we’ve now specifically got a little more insight into precisely what those are.

As you can see in the sneak peek below for “Skin Deep,” his search for the perfect property is going to have an imperfect twist. While it’s not shown explicitly here, we do believe that there’s a dead body in that pool! It’s hardly an ideal situation, but who knows? Maybe at the end of this he will be able to lower the sale cost on the home a little bit. This should be an entertaining story mostly because you’ve got that great mystery component, but at the same time, you also have a part of the story that is a little more geared towards an individual character.

Of course, the one bit of bad news is that you’re going to have to wait a while in order to see this one play out. Thanks to the July 4 holiday, TNT is not airing a new episode tonight; instead, you’re stuck waiting until July 11, so here’s to hoping that this one is entertaining enough to make that worthwhile. We at least hope that it does a good job of further propelling the relationship between Sharon and Andy further, given that we hope there is some significant movement there by the time we make it to the finale (whenever that is — we’re getting a much longer season now than originally expected).
