NBC’s ‘The Voice’ iTunes results: Alisan Porter, Laith Al-Saadi, Adam Wakefield strong

She’s back!

Last week, it was definitely starting to feel as though long-christened “The Voice” favorite Alisan Porter was starting to find herself falling a little bit back in the back; now, she definitely seems closer to winning the competition than ever before thanks to her cover of “Let Him Fly.”

As of this writing (which is on Tuesday at around noon Eastern time), Porter is the only artist in the top ten at #6; however, Laith Al-Saadi is very close, with his take on “The Thrill Is Gone” sitting pretty at #11. Laith is a prime example of the sort of artist who does well on “The Voice,” and not necessarily other shows. His music is true to his lane, has a specific audience, and does really well with them even if he’s not exactly current. The best comparison we can give is former finalist Terry McDermott, who made it extremely far during his season.

Also charting very well at the moment are Adam Wakefield at #16, Mary Sarah at #18, and Hannah Huston at #23. Given that two of these artists are on Team Blake, it’s almost impossible to think Adam or Mary are going anywhere. Meanwhile, Hannah’s likely safe just because she seems to beloved by the average viewer of the show.

As for the bottom artists eligible for the #VoiceSave tonight, there are a few options. Daniel Passino didn’t even chart in the top 100 with “I Don’t Wanna Miss a Thing,” so it’s fairly easy to assume that he is going to be there. Meanwhile, the other spot will likely be either Shalyah Fearing or Nick Hagelin, given that the two both struggled to get in the top 100. It probably should be Nick, but “The Voice” viewers have surprised us before.
