‘The Good Wife’ season 7, episode 15 preview: Is Peter Florrick in trouble?

Remember Ruth’s warning on “The Good Wife” recently that Peter Florrick’s loss in Iowa could prove to be rather troublesome to his life in Illinois? That is something that has certainly been on our mind ever since the “Iowa” episode, and it seems as though on next week’s episode “Targets,” the Governor could be just that. He is going to be facing some trouble, and Eli is going to be doing everything that he can to ensure that nothing further happens to him. This is why we are going to see Elsbeth Tascioni enter the fray once more for the first time this season.

“Alicia joins a secret panel of attorneys advising the U.S. government on a controversial case. Also, Eli hires Elsbeth Tascioni (Carrie Preston) to uncover why the FBI is targeting Peter.”

We certainly expect drama in this episode, and a foundation that is going to be built upon over the course of the weeks to come. After all, we know already that we’re going to be seeing an appearance of Matthew Morrison a little bit later this season as Connor Fox, a U.S. Attorney who is going to be potentially gunning after Peter. That is where some things could start to become even more intense.

As for Alicia Florrick and her work with the firm, let’s just hope that she starts to find herself a little more cemented in all that is going on.
