‘The Vampire Diaries’ season 7, ‘The Originals’ join forces in new promo

Friday night marks the return of “The Vampire Diaries” and “The Originals” to The CW, and to go along with that, the network has released what we could consider to be a rather-awesome new promo below!

In this clip, you have a few little scenes from each show individually, but then something even more awesome at the tail end of it all: Getting to see Stefan actually join Klaus for a drink in New Orleans! Crossovers are not something that these two shows do very often, so it is almost all the more interesting whenever the two decide that they want to join forces. For this particular crossover to revolve around Klaus and Stefan is even more interesting, mostly when you consider the history that both men have with Caroline. Could this lead to a few awkward conversations between the two? We have to admit that if nothing else, this could be a very entertaining thing to behold.

The crossover between the two shows is not going to be the first thing that you see when the series are back on the air, but judging from the fact that it has already filmed, you can at least rest assured knowing that you will get a crossover between the two shows before you get too late into the season. They haven’t made it that deep into filming yet.
