‘Black Sails’ season 3 premiere: Watch the first five minutes!

The season 3 premiere of “Black Sails” is coming to Starz on Saturday, and Nassau awaits! Also, the first five minutes of the premiere await you in the sneak peek HERE.

What we think the network is doing here in setting up the episode is rather smart. This little scene starts off by showing some of what the show achieves visually, before then transferring over to a scene that exemplifies their presentation of pirates almost perfectly! There is a lot of political and social movement this season, and for Captain Flint in particular, you have to presume that things will get so much more challenging. Blackbeard is set to be a huge presence this season, and when you have someone as accomplished as Ray Stevenson in the role, you have to expect quite a bit of great material for him.

Just in case you are a new viewer and want to look at something more in preparation for the new season, the video below also gives us a condensed history of the first couple of seasons in a relatively short amount of time. There’s not a whole lot of time left to binge-watch, so this may at least get you from point A to point B.
