New ‘Grey’s Anatomy’ – ‘Scandal’ – ‘How to Get Away with Murder’ drama inside latest promo

While there may not be a new episode of “Grey’s Anatomy,” “Scandal,” or “How to Get Away with Murder” until February 11, that is not stopping ABC from releasing the latest promo … which may drive you up a wall faster than you can say the names of all three shows out loud.

This promo comes to you via Entertainment Weekly, and it features a series of surprising events featuring all of the shows. We have Annalise with a child (is this a young Wes?), Meredith in some sort of peril, and also Mellie and Olivia Pope shockingly in the same room together. Could she actually team up with Fitz’s former First Lady and help her in some way against him? Anything is possible.

With that mind, “anything is possible” is the motto for all three of these shows in some shape or form, and we don’t see that changing in the near future. The only thing that we hope is that somewhere along the line, the show does slow down at least enough to smell the roses and focus on some more individual stories. The promo focuses more on the crazy OMG moments, and we know from a marketing standpoint that’s not going to change. ABC has worked out a system that clearly works for them and sells, and it involves pushing these shows as hard as they can with every fabric of their being.
