‘Big Brother 17’ live feed spoilers: The new Head of Household is revealed!

It took a while tonight for the Head of Household Competition on “Big Brother 17” to be complete, but it now is! There are of course some spoilers ahead, but it is looking like we’re going to have a fun week.

Steve is the new HoH! There was some speculation among the twins beforehand that he was not going to try that hard to win this particular competition, but we knew better given that he had every reason to fight for it. With him in power, he now has a chance to make a potentially big move and cut down the Austwins alliance significantly. He’s not going to put up John, and we don’t see him going after Vanessa right now.

If we were Steve, we would probably nominate Austin and Liz, if for no other reason than that you want to reduce the odds of the member of the alliance off the block winning Veto, and then removing someone on the block. If Julia wins Veto, she could remove Liz and force Steve to nominate either John or Vanessa. If this happens, the two twins would vote either John or Vanessa out most likely, and he’d be down an alliance member.

Thanks to these stipulations, we now have the potential for an exciting week no matter what happens. To us, much of the fun is going to come out of seeing if Steve’s popularity suddenly rises just because he does something he’s said for some time that he is going to do.
