‘After Paradise’: Jared Haibon talks Ashley Iaconetti ‘letter,’ sticking with her

Monday night’s “After Paradise” was the first opportunity for Jared Haibon to really discuss his relationship with Ashley Iaconetti since all of the craziness took place in Mexico earlier this summer, so you of course had to think that he was going to spend some time talking about it, right?

Well, that is what he did during the opening minutes of the “Bachelor in Paradise” aftershow, and he did admit that while he had plenty of doubts throughout the season, he was swayed by the lengthy letter Ashley wrote her around the time of a Rose Ceremony, calling it one of the sweetest things that anyone has ever done for her.

If you did not like seeing all of the craziness when it comes to Jared and Ashley, the show probably did present its funniest moment quite possibly ever as Chris Bukowski announced his official retirement from the franchise, and a jersey was raised in his honor. Also, they thankfully retired that ridiculous raccoon who was never really a part of this season in the first place.

As for that whole Samantha Steffen interview … let’s just say that the less we say about that whole charade, the better off we are. The whole ordeal just felt like her defending herself, but there was almost no progress over the course of the interview, and we really could’ve done without it.

The biggest cause for dismay in this episode? There was just way too much going on over the course of an hour. Too many guests, again!
