‘Bones’ season 11 spoilers: ’24’ alum Kim Raver signs up for premiere
While there are still many details under wraps when it comes to “Bones” season 11, we can at least tell you one thing right now: They have definitely brought in someone pretty cool as far as a guest star goes.
Sources confirm that Kim Raver, whose credits include “24,” “Grey’s Anatomy,” and “Revolution,” is going to be appearing in at least the first two episodes of season 11 as Special Agent Grace Miller. What’s her mission? It is ultimately as simple as doing what she can to help find Booth … who has disappeared? That seems to be the case. The show is clearly wasting no time at all creating a new mystery to start things off.
The reality here is just that “Bones” set up their season 10 finale in a way that almost anything could happen, and that gave time for some of the new showrunners to figure out where they wanted to go with this, and how to get Booth and Brennan back at the Jeffersonian in time. While there is so much that will be different early on about the new season, this is still “Bones” in the end! We do not see the show wanting to do that much to fundamentally shift the main characters or their story.
The new season premieres on October 1, and you can expect Raver to appear in at least two episodes. Given her overall body of work, she is the sort of guest star we’re extremely happy to have around on the show.
