‘Bones’ season 11, ‘Sleepy Hollow’ season 3 crossover coming before Halloween

The last we heard, the much-anticipated crossover between “Bones” and “Sleepy Hollow” (strange as it may be) was looking as though it was probably not going to happen until we turn the calendars over into 2016. Now, we are very much pleased to report that it looks as though this is going to happen so much earlier than we thought.

As first reported here by TVLine, these two shows are now going to jump into one another’s worlds on Thursday, October 29. Given that this is right before Halloween, this makes a whole lot more sense when it comes to the spooky nature of the latter show.

One of the larger questions out there is still just how in the world the series is going to work with some of these shows mashed up together. Personally, we think that it is going to be really great to see what happens when Booth and Brennan meet Ichabod and Abbie, but can this really happen in the real world? “Bones” is not a supernatural show, which is why we think we are looking at some sort of dream sequence or alternate universe as a means of making this happen. While it may need to do something like this in order to ensure that the series works, it still feels like it could be a whole lot of fun. Who cares if it really plays into a long-term story?

Now that this crossover is coming so soon, you can probably expect some more story details sooner rather than later. This episode will be filmed more than likely before the shows even premiere with their new seasons on October 1.
