‘The Fosters’ season 3, episode 3 preview: Callie’s distrust, Jude’s difficulties
Tonight, “The Fosters” brought to the table in “Father’s Day” the same sort of combination of drama / anguish that you would expect, but also some moments that reminded you as to why you care so much about some of these characters. They are flawed, but at the same time capable of big dreams and so much more than they appear on the surface.
So where are we going from here moving into the next new episode? What we can tell you for the time being is that “Deja Vu” is the title, and the synopsis below makes it clear just what as a whole you can expect to see from the story. Let’s just say that Jude and Callie in particular are going to struggle, but you also probably do not want to forget about Stef and Lena, either:
“When the family takes a vested interest in AJ (guest star Tom Williamson, “Switched at Birth”), Callie has doubts about whether she can trust him. Stef surprises Lena with some news about Monte. Meanwhile, Jude has trouble moving on from the trauma of the shooting incident.”
You had to think that the Monte story was going to come back at some point, right? There is only so long that certain stories can be kept a secret, and we’ve really hit the potential expiration date on this one. If everything comes out, then we in turn expect a whole series of other issues for the characters to deal with.
