‘Falling Skies’ season 5 spoilers: Tom Mason answers coming

If you enjoy “Falling Skies” on TNT, the best news that we can offer you at the moment is strictly that you are not going to have to wait too much longer until the fifth and final season premieres on June 28 … oh, and we can also tell you a thing or two about the mystery man or woman that the character (played by Noah Wyle) was looking at in the closing minutes of the season 4 finale.

According to Entertainment Weekly, it’s not going to take much time at all for this person to make a huge impact on Tom’s arc in the final season. What they tell him will motivate him in ways that we have not seen before, but there may be a downside to all of it: He and Anne may not be on the same page as a result of whatever he learns / does. Given that all of humanity is now at risk, you probably want to have almost everyone on the same wavelength.

The reality here is that at this point, unity is probably close to impossible. There is only so much time left, and there are probably some bold decisions that are going to need to be made. Not everyone is going to like these decisions, but someone now has to be the one to lead the charge. Beyond Tom, who has the right mixture of qualities to make something happen?
