‘The Good Wife’ season 6 finale spoilers: Going behind the door

Who is behind the door? For the past six days, this is the question that all fans of “The Good Wife” have wondered to themselves. It’s been fun to debate back and forth what could be happening here, but for us the simplest and cleanest answer to the question is this: It has to be Kalinda. Who else would have the same emotional impact?

Exhibit A behind it potentially being Kalinda is the sole fact that Archie Panjabi has been confirmed to be returning in the last episode of the season. As for exhibit B, it really has to do with the lack of screen time that Panjabi and Julianna Margulies have spent together over the past four years. This is a show that clearly commits to something and then sticks to it. Therefore, they want to make whatever reunion these two have be something that everyone ends up talking about for a really long time.

Could there be some other possibilities for who is behind this door? We suppose that it is possible. Maybe Cary or Diane wants to work something out with her, or maybe Finn is coming in for a big romantic moment. Heck, maybe this is all a dream where Will Gardner shows up and gives some advice to Alicia in that form.

Ultimately, though, the moment of greatest impact would be getting a chance to see Kalinda one last time on the series. We just have to figure out what these two would have to say too each other after all of this time.
