‘iZombie’ season 1, episode 9 preview: Liv vs. Blaine

As we start to approach the end of season 1 of “iZombie,” we are of course going to be entering a situation where it becomes more and more imperative to start to see where the long-term story goes. Within the lens of this season, that long-term story is mostly the one revolving around Blaine and his operation … and also what Liv is willing to do in order to stop it.

Could she actually be willing to kill the man for the sake of her own mission? It’s starting to seem more and more like it, though of course in this show it probably is not going to be anywhere near as horrific as this specific statement makes it seem. “Patriot Brains” is the title for this upcoming episode, and you can see the full synopsis for what to expect below:

“Liv (Rose McIver) and Clive (Malcolm Goodwin) investigate the mysterious death of a former sniper, Everett (guest star Ronald Patrick Thompson), who has been working as an instructor at a paintball facility. They begin questioning family members including Everett’s ex-wife and her new husband Sean (guest star Percy Daggs III) and realize things are not what they seem. Meanwhile, Major (Robert Buckley) continues to get closer and closer to the truth, and Blaine (David Anders) does the unthinkable.”

As we do start to near the end of this season, almost every single thing that we see will become more important. That is definitely something to look out for some more as we inch ever closer to the grand finale. “iZombie” still is more than likely coming back for another season.
