‘Hart of Dixie’ season 4, episode 9 review: Who got accidentally engaged?

Dixie -We’re not going to spend a whole lot of time in here talking about the end of “Hart of Dixie,” mostly because it technically is not over yet, and the idea of the series coming to a close at the moment is something that does depress us greatly.

Still, we had an episode tonight in “End of Days” that was a heck of a lot of fun front start to finish. First and foremost, we had an engagement! The funny thing here is that we sent most of the episode wondering if it was going to be Zoe and Wade getting this change in their relationship status. Instead, Lemon and Lavon accidentally stumbled upon Zoe’s proposal to Wade, a move that she made after talking with George. Lavon just went along with it, mostly because he planned on getting hitched to her eventually in the first place.

This puts Zoe in a somewhat pretty pickle, but the big thing that we figured out in here is that she does want to marry Wade, and the fact that he wants to put himself out there for her is something that is worthy of recognition.

Meanwhile, George is also making a big change: He is heading to Nashville, where he is going to get a job as a big music manager. It’s great for him, but it changes the entire dynamic of the town.

In between most of the residents thinking that the world was going to end and the emotional moments at the end, this was a great episode. Regardless of what happens, we’re going to miss the humor and southern charm of this show. Grade: A-.
