‘Sleepy Hollow’ season 2, episode 5 spoilers: On Ichabod and Abbie’s relationship
Are you going to see Abbie and Ichabod ever getting together on “Sleepy Hollow“? It’s a difficult question, and it’s also a very difficult one to answer due to all of the different complications that are involved with it at the moment.
Speaking to TVLine, executive producer Len Wiseman promises that they are “not screwing” with fans by allowing Tom Mison and Nicole Beharie’s characters to have a little bit of chemistry. However, there is also a “fine line” that the two characters must walk.
Look at it this way. If they make Ichabod start to entertain romantic feelings for Abbie while Katrina is in the picture, couldn’t that cast a negative light on his character? We don’t want to think of Mr. Crane as a cheater, even if we do like the thought of him and Abbie together.
Fellow EP Mark Goffman offers that in a way, Katrina’s presence is a good thing, and serves as almost a shield “that allows them to be really close without ever having to worry about crossing that line.”
So there’s your answer for now when it comes to these two characters’ romantic status. Maybe it happens at some point in the future, but this is not something that either party is going to rush by any means. Instead, they just want to take the time to ensure that this relationship is done right if it ever happens, but for now, the top priority is being Witnesses and of course doing what they can to save the world.
That’s at least our reading on it for now; time will tell if it stays that way.

i’d like for the series to at least show both Ichabod & Abbie grapple with their feelings for each other either individually or together. Clearly they have great chemistry and its a shame to have an elephant in the room with these two
