‘Top Chef: Boston’ episode 2 preview: What do firefighters want to eat?
Now that you are a little more familiar with “Top Chef: Boston,” it’s only appropriate now to spend a minute or two asking the following question: What in the world is going to be coming up next on the show?
While much of the challenge Wednesday night remains a mystery, we do seem to know one aspect of it based on the sneak peek below: It will involve to a certain extent trying to serve us some food to some of Boston’s finest in local firefighters. It appears as though there is a certain Mystery Box (to use a “MasterChef” term) component to this, since nobody knows entirely just what they are going to be cooking or what ingredients they are going to be working with.
Just as you would expect in this sort of situation, there is an enormous amount of conflict that comes out of this. For example, this peek revolves around Aaron and Keriann, who do a pretty terrible job getting on the same page when it comes to what they should cook. We actually think that the two may not be that far away from each other when it comes to the expectations for what they want to make, but both seem so hesitant to be labeled the “leader” that they don’t want to really do anything that constitutes a big move. This may not hurt them now, but sooner or later, the hesitancy to step up may cause a problem for them in this competition.
