‘Big Brother 16’ live feed spoilers: Meet Izzy the dog; Derrick’s plan

So far during this “Big Brother” season, we feel like it has been very hard to dispute the claim that Derrick is a great player. He may be one of the top ten players of all time if he makes it to the end and wins.

If there is a major flaw in his game, though, it is him thinking consistently that he needs to make America like him. This has impacted the way that he acts in the Diary Room and with Team America. Not only that, but his plan to stage his own version of Dan’s funeral (his words, not ours) is something that seems geared towards him being a big player … even though in this case it’s completely unnecessary. Basically, he wants to try to make some big spectacle where Victoria and he claim that they are distant from one another, that way it is a little easier for him to make it to the end, since others may believe that nobody will vote for him. He may be selling it more as a last-ditch effort to save her, but that’s not really what it is about for him.

Here’s the problem: Victoria is not that good of an actress. If Derrick goes through this, he’s idiotic and screwing himself out of what was initially a very good game.

Elsewhere, we have a dog in the house! Izzy was welcomed in by the players with open arms, and Cody and Victoria in particular seemed to be the most happy to have her around. The pooch is calm and pretty friendly, and is a nice addition to the live feeders. (It was feeders who voted for her to enter the house in the first place.)
