‘America’s Got Talent’ results: Did Aerial Animation, David & Leeman receive ‘Snapple Save’/
Tonight, “America’s Got Talent” rolled out what was their attempt at replicating what “The Voice” is doing with their “instant saves,” and we’re just going to have to see how this works. The “Snapple Save” is using Google accounts rather than Twitter, but the show did change things up by revealing the acts in danger at the start of the show.
Basically, the three you have to choose from are Mara Justine, David & Leeman, and Aerial Animation, and voting will be open until the end of the show. Personally, we’d probably go with the magic act based on last night alone, but we do need to see something a little bit bigger from them moving forward.
We’ll have the results of this twist soon, along with all of the other results of the night. Stay tuned, and refresh this page!
The advancing acts tonight are…
Mike Super – We’re glad to see him get another go at this, mostly because he really does deserve it after last night. The Desmond gimmick was probably distracting people from the fact that he is probably the most creative magician that the show has ever seen.
Sons of Serendip – This once, once again, hardly came as a surprise. Regardless of whatever you may think about their name (looks at Howard Stern), these guys are clearly the top contenders.
Emily West – This was the no-brainer act of the night, given that she gave the best overall performance on the entire night. She’s also got a decent shot at winning the show.
Miguel Dakota – We assumed that there’d be at least two singers to make it through, and we do think that story aside, Miguel is better than Paul Ieti.
Mara Justine – She was saved! Surprised? We were, mostly because of the fact that this basically means that there are three singers out of four people advancing. Ugh. Not the best use of the save, in our mind.
Now, we get to to the point where the judges choose … and this one should be tough.
David and Leeman – We’re somewhat surprised (given that there is already another magic act through), but also grateful. We feel like there is something still to come for them that we haven’t quite seen yet.

I am ticked, because here on the West Coast it is saying 5 days and 22
hours for the next vote, that means we are not allowed to vote, unless
there is something I don’t know about. Can anyone give me any insight
please>

The only truly original act was Aerial Animation. America doesn’t know what talent means.

No, i do not think Mara Justine should have been voted into the finals. There were others I would have seen move forward. She is too young.
