‘MasterChef’ season 5, episode 15 preview: Ranking the top six!

Tonight on “MasterChef,” we had an elimination that we did see coming at some point around this time: Big Willie.

So where do we go from here? There are only six cooks left in the competition, and we’re going to do something a little bit different in ranking all of the cooks remaining. How do we plan to do that? We’re basing these on edit, cooking ability, and how much potential they have left to come on and win.

6. Cutter – He is not the most technical cook in the competition, but he’s done something right to make it this far. However, we assume that he will be out of chances at some point fairly soon.

5. Jaimee – A very  good cook, but somewhat under the radar. Editing-wise, we would be surprised if she was to pull out the win.

4. Christian – We almost feel the same way about him as we do about Jaimee, mostly because he is an enormous personality who has somehow gotten edited down over time.

3. Leslie – We never thought Leslie would be ranked so high earlier this season, but the man has actually dominated many challenges recently! He’s gotten better and better, and has actually grown on some of his competitors.

2. Courtney – She’s been made out to be the villain at times, but regardless of all that, it feels almost obvious that she will be in the final round of this competition. She’s constantly great, almost never off, and wins more competitions than we can count.

1. Elizabeth – Despite her struggles tonight, we feel like Elizabeth is still the one to beat. She’s got the edit of a winner, we feel like the show wants us to like here, and when she’s on, she creates (to use the cliche) magic on a plate.
