‘Glee’ season 6 spoilers: See Max Adler’s cryptic tease about Karofsky’s return

What exactly is going to be coming up for Karofsky on the final season of “Glee“? In some ways, the fact that he is returning at all is a big surprise. The character, played by Max Adler, has always been a recurring favorite, but it was hard to see where he was going to fit in with the modern story. The fact that the show is returning to Lima undoubtedly helps him, given that the guy was always situated there even after he was through being in high school.

So what about some of those rumors that Adler could be playing a love interest for Blaine (Darren Criss)? For the time being, he is staying somewhat coy about that. Instead, he merely wrote the following on Twitter, hoping people interested enough will just choose to check out what lies ahead:

“In the words of the X-Files, The truth is out there …. Tune in next season to see what’s really true and what is not #YouNeverKnowWithGlee”

Of course, it is always possible that the idea of Karofsky romancing Blaine is just some sort of misdirection for something else that is going on with the character. We were of course surprised that the rumors about him romancing Blaine were out there in the first place, given that the only real impression the guy ever made on him is that he is Kurt’s former bully, who tried at one point to kill himself after not finding a place in the world.
