‘Mistresses’ season 2, episode 7 preview: April prepares for the truth

Where are we going on “Mistresses” when the show airs next week? To a location that the show is not always that familiar with: A truthful place. There have been many allegations and crazy things said at one point or another, but lies seem to be constant. You do not get a title like “Mistresses” without them.

April is going to be the one bracing for something shocking at least during the early part of the episode, while later on we’ll see what happens when Dom figures out that Savi is not telling her the entire truth about Zack, either. Basically, lies control these characters’ lives, and like so many other TV shows, we wonder constantly what would happen if these people just all started being truthful. Maybe they are all addicted to the drama, given that on the surface, it feels like it would actually make their lives a whole lot easier.

The title of the episode next week is somewhat ominous (“Why Do Fools Fall in Love”), but the song it reminds us of is pretty catchy and makes us dance. Therefore, we’re a little conflicted here! Regardless, take a look at what to expect via our official synopsis below:

“ April braces herself for Daniel’s (Ricky Whittle) response when she finally confronts him to come clean. Joss finds that Scott’s (Justin Hartley) work as a plastic surgeon is testing the trust in their relationship. Dom catches Savi in a lie about her friend Zack (Jason Gerhardt) and suggests they all meet. Jacob (Matthew Del Negro) tells Karen he wants to make a go of it, but first must take care of another situation.”
