‘True Blood’ season 7 notes: Alexander Skarsgard sighting, Amelia Rose Blaire comments

There may not be any huge “True Blood” castings or teaser news to report today, but that doesn’t mean the news cycle for all fantastic things with fangs has stopped! We’ve got a couple of little updates here now, starting with s tease from Emilia Rose Blaire.

Willa’s future – Speaking to Entertainment Weekly Radio, the actress behind one of the show’s season 6 standouts explains a little bit of the foundation where we see her character at the start of the new season, even if she has no idea where she ends up by the time the series finale airs:

“When we first find her … Tara is really her main touchstone. She’s her best friend, her teacher. I think she’s very lucky to have her in her life, since otherwise she’d be very lost as a baby vamp with no teacher around.

I think she’s going to come in to what it means to be a vampire and her powers and how she fits in with [the people in Bon Temps]. I’m excited to see where she goes, but I still don’t know where she ends up. Hopefully it’s an empowered place.”

Alexander Skarsgard sighting – While the man behind Eric Northman may not be speaking out about what you can expect on the next season of the show, we can at least say for now that  he got a little time out to spend at the hippest (?) music festival out there in Coachella.

Based on Alex’s look, you can expect Eric to potentially be sporting a little bit more hair this season than the past few years … but not anywhere near season 1 levels. (Yes, we’re doing hair analysis now.)
