‘Sons of Anarchy’: When Kurt Sutter could discuss season 7, more with Larry King
Given that we are in April, now’s not the best time to get an avalanche of news on “Sons of Anarchy” news. While scripts are being written, not much is being said about them; given that we are entering the show’s seventh and final season, it’s pretty understandable why there’s a need to be secretive.
We can at least tell you now when you will at least see some discussion about the show again … at least approximately. An episode of “Larry King Now” featuring creator Kurt Sutter was recently shot, and there are typically a couple of components to these episodes:
1. A part that is more of a straightforward Larry King interview, which you saw on CNN for so many years before King moved online.
2. A part that is more geared around questions from social media, and we know already that the Ora TV show collected questions from fans. (The episode has already been taped.)
According to FX’s Dominic Pagone, the episode will air the week of April 14. (Translation: A week from Monday.) This has turned out to be quite a few-week stint for King when it comes to interviewing some of TV’s top showrunners, as he recently sat down with Carlton Cuse of “Lost,” “Bates Motel,” and “The Strain.” We’ll have a more definitive air date for Sutter’s episode soon; for now, check out King’s page at Ora TV for the latest episodes.
Some of the latest “Sons of Anarchy” headlines include a promotion of two familiar faces to series regular and the return of T.O. Cross; filming will start up a little later this spring as it always is done. As for the premiere date, we’ll continue to look towards the second week in September, since that seems to be the tradition more often than not.
