‘The Bachelor: The Women Tell All’ spoilers: Do Andi Dorfman, Sharleen Joynt defend Juan Pablo Galavis?
Monday night’s “The Bachelor: The Women Tell All” special is going to be in some ways both predictable and also dramatic. There are going to be a number of very-angry people that Juan Pablo Galavis is going to have to face for some of the stuff that he said throughout the season, but there are also a few other people who may actually come to his defense on at least one or two things.
Surprisingly, one of these people is going to be someone in Andi Dorfman who was at times one of his most vocal critic, and blasted him for some of his treatment of her when it comes to attention, and finding out things about her life. According to E! News, Andi at least defends Juan Pablo for treating some of the women differently, like not leading on Cassandra Ferguson and sending her home the moment that he realized that there was no future for the two of them.
Also, Sharleen Joynt said that she felt that Juan Pablo was taking the show seriously, and got to know both her and the locations that they visited. What we really think about this ultimately is that the women that he seriously thought he would be with, he got to know better; everyone else was probably just there. This is why we feel like Andi probably would have placed third even if she did not take off from the show after a disastrous overnight date. (Andi, to be fair, also said that there are some “jerk” moves that Juan Pablo made to go along with what she defends him for.)
The one thing that we always find annoying about these “Women Tell All” specials is that there are a whole chorus of bandwagon-riders year in and year out. What we mean by that is that many of the contestants who have been scorned back a common enemy, and then spend most of the special going after them to try to look cool and cavalier on TV. Do we think that this is happening here this time around? Beyond the shadow of a doubt, yes. Do we also think that some people were genuinely let down and disappointed with Juan Pablo. Also yes. You can have both.
