‘The X Factor’ UK rankings: Will Nicholas McDonald, Sam Bailey, or Luke Friend win?

The latest news -We’re just about there, fans of “The X Factor“: The time when we learn whether or not there is going to be a spectacular ending to the show’s tenth season in the UK. There are three great contestants left, but only one of them will be worthy of the grand prize and the title of champion in the end.

So who will it be? The best way that we can even hope to answer that right now is by looking at a number of different factors, whether those be performance quality or voting history over the past several weeks. While the third-place finisher feels somewhat set in stone, the race for the top two could be a little more dramatic.

3. Luke Friend (last week: 4) – He may be our personal favorite of the remaining three, but Luke has also been in the bottom at least twice in this competition already. Meanwhile, we’ve never seen either Sam Bailey or Nicholas McDonald in any danger at all.  Luke is going to have to deliver the best performance ever if he wants to have a chance. We believe in his ability to do it, but this is not going to be an easy task.

2. Nicholas McDonald (2) – This is where things get tricky. Since neither Nicholas or Sam have been in danger, we’re thinking here in terms of who has probably had more attention throughout the season … and that’s Sam. Nicholas is a nice kid with a great voice, and he is probably the same sort of guy off the show that he is on and that’s what you hope for in a contestant. But we still don’t think that he has any clue who he wants to be as an artist. The best thing that can happen for him is for Louis Walsh to sign him, help him develop a sound for a few years, and then try to go from there.

1. Sam Bailey (1) – Sam has taken all of Britain by storm. There’s no doubting to us that people love her, and they would love to see her win this title in the end. She’s an everyday mom with a dream that they’ll believe in, and while we don’t think she will be a pop star, we could see her having a great few years of selling albums that have a mixture of classic songs and originals on them like Josh Groban or Susan Boyle. That is a great, great career, and there is no reason for us to believe that she will finish anywhere lower than at the top.

Agree with us? Disagree? Share your thoughts in the poll below! We’ll be back tomorrow with the full review of the top 3 performance show.
