Love Island USA season 8 episode 16 preview: Casa Amor begins!

We know that we have been waiting a long time but moving into Love Island USA season 8 episode 16, everything is about to change. Casa Amor is finally set to kick off!

If you have been watching the franchise for a rather long time, then you already know a good bit of what this means. This is a twist that will test the couples like never before thanks to 1) distance and 2) new bombshells. Let’s be honest: some of these people could very-much need it! One of the major criticisms that has been out there about season 8 has been that the pairings have grown stale and predictable. Maybe these people really do have feelings for each other; or, it is possible that they all just want to stay in the villa as long as humanly possible.

Tonight’s episode, to the surprise of no one, did not really reveal all that much in terms of what is coming up. The only real tension that we got was courtesy of Caleb deciding to chat with Kayda. We appreciate that he is trying to do something, and also, doesn’t Zach kinda deserve some comeuppance at this point? He has seemingly tried to set himself up to be open to other options, so how can he be upset if someone else moves in on his couple?

Also, we really need some bombshells to start to fulfill their true purpose on this show. Sol was not proactive enough outside of Sincere (though the other islanders weren’t helping) — then, what exactly is Jen even doing now? We know that she had her thing with Gabriel, but that was mostly because of the way that America voted.
