Love Island USA season 8 episode 14: Sol & Gabriel dumped!

We knew that there would be drama at the center of Love Island USA season 8 episode 14, especially with people being dumped from the villa. Who went out the door?

First of all, let’s just note that the people who were left vulnerable after America’s vote were Jen & Gabriel, Caleb & Sol, and then Kenzie & Corbin. The men decided which of the three women would go, whereas the women decided the same for the men.

The men decided first and foremost that they would send Sol out of the villa. Are we surprised? Hardly, mostly because she did not have a solid connection there and while KC kept moving around the idea that he would pursue her, it never quite happened. We honestly feel bad for her, just because of the fact that she was routinely screwed time and time again by the situation around her. We do love that she called it “Couples’ Island” on her way out the door, which seemed to irk Sincere despite him being in a couple with Melanie and having a good bit of drama all around that for a significant period of time.

As for the women, they decided to sent Gabriel home. They argued that he would never be happy completely in the villa, as he kept moving from one person to the next the moment that they turned up. He did form some sort of bond with Jen, but you can argue that a lot of it was purely physical. That meant that Jen was left to find yet another partner.

In the end, we do tend to think that moving forward, there will be chances for both Caleb and Jen; yet, the episode cut off before we got too see too much of what was coming on the other side.
