House of the Dragon season 3 episode 4 promo: The hunt for Aemond
House of the Dragon season 3 episode 4 is heading to HBO this week — so how can the show top what we have seen already?
Obviously, we know that there cannot be a Battle of the Gullet every single week and yet, there may still be some action ahead. Some of this may be tied to Ormund’s occupation as moving into the next episode we imagine that more of his end goals are going to start to become more clear.

The promo for episode 4 signaled that we are going to be at least understanding more of Ormund’s motives as we move forward on the show, something that we certainly do need given that otherwise, we have a ton of unanswered questions. take, for example, why in the world this guy has decided that it is a good idea for him to move forward with his plans despite Rhaenyra being on the Iron Throne now.
Perhaps as interesting to us as anything is the brief scene in the preview with Criston and Gwayne, who arrive in Harrenhal to find Alys and yet, there are questions regarding Aemond’s whereabouts. We know that she may have nursed him back to health, but is that a certainty? Far from it as there are a lot of assorted questions that need to be answered there. We do tend to think that his own motives moving forward will be truly fascinating to watch, given the fact that he is someone who operates with a separate agenda and yet, is loyal to his mother. Would he be after hearing of her plan to let in Rhaenyra? That is the present mystery.
