ABC’s ‘Revenge’ season 3, episode 10 video: A different look at the ‘who shot Emily?’ question
Did the new “Revenge” promo from ABC just give away potentially who most of the suspects are for Emily Thorne’s shooting? It’s very well possible; or, this could just be a typical promo thrown out there by the network and the studio to throw us off from who is the real guilty party. Either way, there’s little denying that the network clearly knows that they are onto something here. This is a huge opportunity for the show to take the drama up another level, and based on what we are seeing at the moment, they have every intention to do so.
Here are the suspects that are listed in this new promo.
The Groom – Daniel Grayson, who does have a good motivation if he really wants to be with Sara, and this is some sort of “American Tragedy” situation where he thinks that he needs to kill his wife and unborn child in order to be with her. (The only difference is that in the Dreiser novel, Clyde Griffiths does this in order to be with a women of society after marrying a working-class girl.)
The In-Laws – Reports that are out there have mostly ruled out Conrad and Victoria, but most casual fans will not know this.
The Best Friend – Could Nolan really do this? It would be shocking, but we don’t really get the motivation for him to go this route.
The Secret Half-Sister – Given how Charlotte has tried to ruin Emily at times, it would not surprise us to see her go after her in such a major way in order to help her brother … but this does still seem a bit extreme for her.
The other fiance – If Aiden was to do this for whatever reason, it would probably be as a diversion to ensure that he could frame the shooting on Victoria. But, would he really risk the life of the woman he loves just to make sure that a plan is successful?
