‘American Horror Story: Coven’ episode 10 preview: When does Stevie Nicks appear?
After tonight’s episode “Head” (which was really so appropriate given the state of Kathy Bates throughout all of it), it is certainly understandable to be chomping at the bit to see more “American Horror Story: Coven.” Unfortunately, here is the bad news: You’ll be waiting until January 8 for the first of the final four episodes of the season, which carries with it the title of “The Magical Delights of Stevie Nicks.”
As you would expect, this is the first of two episodes that is going to feature the Fleetwood Mac rocker as a major guest star, playing a role that she should know pretty well by now: Herself. She is brought in to spend some time with Lily Rabe’s character of Misty Day, and that is unfortunately just about all that is known about the role for now.
As you can see in the promo below, Ryan Murphy and company are really not revealing too much at all … which has to be at least in part an intentional move, given that they may not have that much done in post-production just yet. Given that it really was not that long that the news of Nicks’ casting was first coming out, they have to be feeling pretty grateful that there is a break to get some more work in the can before taking off for the Christmas holiday.
“American Horror Story: Coven” is following the same scheduling pattern as last year; the show’s first season did manage to cram everything into the fall, but it was a struggle for everyone involved to get it done in enough time.
