‘Once Upon a Time’ season 3 spoilers: New winter finale details

What's next? -Last night on “Once Upon a Time,” the real nature of Peter Pan’s plot started to become clear: Not only did he want to take over the town of Storybrooke, but he was interested in creating a new Neverland, one where he could reign supreme again and have his own little chorus of minions. For him, the best way in which to go about making his plan into a reality was finding a way to reenact the curse, which he stole while trapped inside Henry’s body from Regina’s cellar.

But is this really the same curse that we had last time? This is where things start to become a little bit confusing. First of all, you have the suggestion on the show that it will be similar to what transpired during the first curse, where everyone loses their memories and is forced to go about suffering in this way; then, there is also the suggestion that is made in the official synopsis for “Going Home” below, which comes courtesy of ABC:

“In the Winter Finale episode, the race is on to stop Pan from enacting another curse on the residents of Storybrooke, which could kill every living soul in town.”

So which is it, death or forgetting? Maybe they are in some ways one in the same, because without the Savior around and able to help, there is really no way at all that Snow, Charming, Belle, or anyone else could remember who they really are. This threat definitely raises the stakes, but we imagine that Pan is going to have a hard time enacting it now that everyone knows what he is up to. He has not exactly given himself very much of a window to create the curse and create it effectively, especially in a town stuffed full of secrets that he knows next to nothing about.

What do you think is going to transpire on the “Once Upon a Time” winter finale, and what do you think is going to become of Peter Pan? Share below, and click here to watch a preview for the story ahead.
