‘Hawaii Five-0’ season 4, episode 10 preview: An emotional look at Pearl Harbor episode

On Friday night, “Hawaii Five-0” is going to be back on the air with a new episode, and one that promises to be among the most emotional of the entire series’ run. After all, the series is taking on an issue in Pearl Harbor that is still extremely sensitive to those across America, but especially in Hawaii, where there are still many old enough to remember what went down there on December 7 so many years ago.

In the promo below, you can start to get a first look at just what to expect when this episode airs. It’s going to be an hour that in some ways revolves both around justice, and also trying to uncover some big secrets from so many years ago. There is definitely a suggestion made in here that we will be surprised with what we find, but not in the same sort of silly way that shows often choose to tease these. The writers / producers are taking this story seriously.

This episode will also be pivotal as a great way to send off the story before the arrival of the holiday season. After this, you’re only going to see one more episode this fall … and to be honest, we are surprised that you are getting that. The emotional story at play here would have been a nice way to lead off to the hiatus, but maybe the schedulers over at CBS felt that it was important to get in one more hour the Friday before Christmas, especially if the episode is a little bit similar to the rest of the series in the way that humor is occasionally implemented into the story.
