‘The Good Wife’ season 5, episode 10 preview: Alicia’s Christmas party conflict (video)

The latest -It is getting close to Christmastime on “The Good Wife” season 5, but there is still a question that comes along with that: Can something as seemingly innocent as a Christmas party really end up becoming a source of conflict? Only in this world would such a thing become an enormous problem, but this precisely what has happened here.

In the sneak peek video below, you can see precisely what we are talking about as Alicia is front and center of a conflict that involves the problem otherwise known as Peter Florrick and Colin Sweeney being in the same room together. Basically, it would make for one heck of a complicated legal situation if the two were to start communicating.

Unfortunately for Eli and company, there is a problem here: Alicia is not about to dis-invite someone from her party just because it would make life easier for someone else. That’s just not the way that she rolls. Instead, she will be far more inclined to see how things unfold, especially since Peter has obviously made it clear already that he is not going to suddenly opt to not take part in the party himself. If there is one word to describe what this episode will likely be, it’s chaos … and probably not of the good kind except for us watching at home. There will be shockers (especially for Alicia and Kalinda), and this should give us a good idea as to where the rest of the season is heading. After all, there are going to be 12 episodes that follow this one airing in the spring that look to make matters even more complicated.

What do you think is going to happen here, and given that Sunday marks both the 100th episode and the midseason finale, are you anticipating something crazy taking place? Share some of your thoughts below, and click here if you want to check out some more scoop related to “The Good Wife.”
